Actually, it is being a psychotherapist that enables me to solve such problems. Any addictive substance primarily affects our brain, not our stomach, hands or feet. It does not matter if it is alcohol or nicotine. The substance influences the brain and the latter starts to produce pseudo-elation hormones. The brain gradually gets used to such a way of deriving pleasure. And in real conditions, without a certain dose of the substance, it can hardly enjoy life. It is the brain that needs bringing back to reality. And then the brain itself recovers the body.
